Gaza's war-weary children get a chance to relax and play

Emad Almoqari leads a group of children in an activity at the Youth Empowerment Center in Beit Hanoun, Gaza. The program is supported by caritas and DanChurchAid, a member of the ACT Alliance, and is designed to help children better cope with the trauma they experienced during the 2014 war.

In the wake of that war between the government of Gaza and the government of Israel, ACT Alliance members are supporting health care, vocational training, rehabilitation of housing and water systems, psycho-social care, and other humanitarian actions throughout the besieged Palestinian territory.
