Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadA woman teacher covers her ears during an exercise in a continuing education class for displaced teachers in Agok, a town in the contested Abyei region where tens of thousands of people fled in 2011 after an attack by soldiers and militias from the northern Republic of Sudan on most parts of Abyei. The class is conducted by Solidarity with South Sudan, an international network of religious orders and congregations assisting the newly independent country of South Sudan to train teachers, health care personnel, and pastoral workers. .
