Dr Mari-Anna Auvinen shares words of greeting from a group of international visitors from the Lutheran World Federation during Sunday service at the Finfinne Oromo Mekane Yesus Congregation of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus. In a context where congregations did not use to be allowed to hold their services in any language but Amharic, the congregation today is one of some 60 Oromo speaking Mekane Yesus congregations in Addis Ababa.
