The Palorinya refugee settlement, in Obongi district, West Nile area of northern Uganda, hosts more than 128,000 refugees, the majority of which arrived following the eruption of war in South Sudan in 2013. Palorinya is the second largest refugee settlement in Uganda. The refugees and host communities in the area receive support from the Lutheran World Federation World Service program in Uganda.
