Run by the Lutheran World Federation, Peace Primary School provides education for close to 4,000 students aged 6-60 across grades 1-8. The school currently supports two parallel curricula, and as not all refugees at Kakuma refugee camp have had access to education during their childhood, some now undertake primary school education as adults.
