Walking the beach after typhoon in Philippines

A boy walks along the beach in Malangabang, a small island near the Philippines city of Concepcion. The community was ravaged during the passage of Typhoon Haiyan, known locally as Yolanda, in November 2013. The storm surge smashed houses and boats and left fishing nets unusable. Yet residents have rebounded quickly with help from the Philippine government and the international community.
