A pharmaceutical company's exhibit in the XIX International AIDS Conference in Washington, D.C. The biennial conference this year is abuzz with news of the U.S. government's approval of an HIV preventive drug, as well as advances toward a cure for HIV infection. Yet leaders of faith-based groups and others say Big Pharma isn't doing enough to make its drugs, especially antiretroviral medications, available at lower costs.
