Milky Way rises above Little Tahoma

The Milky Way rises above the summit of Little Tahoma, as Mount Rainier--also known as Mount Tahoma--rises to the west just before midnight on July 24, 2017. The headlamps of climbers can be seen on the ridge between the two peaks. The photo was captured during a 30-second exposure.

The peaks are located in Mount Rainier National Park in the U.S. State of Washington.
