Japanese girls at Asian American Camp in California
Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadMinori Hisada (left), a 16-year old girl from Aizuwakamatsu, Japan, peers at the camera phone of Hina Sato, another 16-year old from the same city, during the 2013 Asian American Camp for United Methodist youth in the west of the United States. The camp was held at Camp Sierra in Big Creek, California. Hisada and Sato were among six Japanese youth who came to the camp from the Fukushima region of Japan, site of the nuclear power plant which has spilled radiation since a 2011 earthquake and reactor failure.
