Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadSurvivors of gender-based violence, some with children on their laps, applaud during their October 11, 2019, graduation from a basic literacy program in Goma, a city in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo where rape is epidemic. The women participate in the Tushinde Ujeuri Project, which is supported by IMA World Health. It offers survivors of sexual and gender-based violence a new start on life, including helping them learn to read and write.
