Paulia Guillaume stands on her farm in the Haitian community of Ganthier, where Mission Sociale des Eglises Hatiennes (MISSEH), a member of the ACT Alliance, has helped residents rebuild their lives after the village was devastated in 2016 by Hurricane Matthew. MISSEH has provided seeds and tools to farmers, including Guillaume, while helping the community organize a more agile and responsive program of disaster risk reduction.
