Add to Cart Add to Lightbox Download

A Jordanian police officer works to establish order during a public distribution of bread in the Zaatari Refugee Camp, located near Mafraq, Jordan. Opened in July, 2012, the camp holds upwards of 50,000 refugees from the civil war inside Syria, but its numbers are growing, and tensions inside the camp regularly boil over into incidents where the police have had to intervene. International Orthodox Christian Charities and other members of the ACT Alliance are active in the camp providing essential items and services.
