Boy who survived Burkitt's lymphoma

The 14-year old boy was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system caused by the Epstein–Barr virus, but was treated successfully with chemotherapy at the Bugando Medical Center in Mwanza. The family lives in a remote community, and traveling to the hospital took more than two hours each way.
