Add to Cart Add to Lightbox Download

A woman escorts her goats as she walks to fetch water in Lugi, a village in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan. The area is controlled by the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North, and frequently attacked by the military of Sudan. Hundreds of wells have been drilled in the Nuba Mountains by the Catholic Church, which also sponsors schools and health care facilities throughout the war-torn region.
