Nonviolence march in South Sudan

Residents of Mundri, a remote town in South Sudan, chant as they march down the community's main street to celebrate the International Day of Nonviolence on October 2, 2012. Like much of the newly independent country, Mundri has been torn by inter-ethnic and tribal violence, and marchers were calling for nonviolent means of resolving the disputes. This local program is supported by FinnChurchAid, a member of the ACT Alliance.
