A student in a preschool for Roma children in the Zemun Polje neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. The program, for children 5-9 years old, is part of the Branko Pesic School, supported by Church World Service. Many of the children are from refugee families that fled from Kosovo. Lacking legal legal status in Serbia, their children are unable to attend regular schools.
