Ezekiel Bardales, a former member of the 18th Street Gang in Chamelecón, Honduras, has left gang life behind but remains marked by the tattoos of his previous life. He has had eight laser treatments of the tattoos on his forehead, yet they remain highly visible. Leaving the gangs is not easy. Several church-run projects offer tattoo removal services.
