A new well was drilled by IMA/Tearfund in this community, Tamende, Beni. Here the villagers and engineers that are building the well fill jerrycans while the contruction of the plinth and faucet area is underway. Clean water for drinking underpins health initiatives, and during the Ebola crisis in North Kivu IMA pushed to strengthen the foundations of preventative health care in the region by drilling wells and building reservoirs in communities around Beni and Butembo, North Kivu, Congo DRC.
