Rosa Madrid in her shop in Bordo Gavión, one of the notoriosly violent marginal area of San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
Rosa has taken part in a CWS-supported program directed at people in extreme vulnerability who have a family member deprived of liberty, in prison.
"Rosa says "It's difficult, when a family member has their liberty taken away, it's hard on the family, sometimes practically to make ends meet, to keep the family together, to do the prison visits and provide for the person in prison is expensive and emotionally hard too, and some people live with stigma, shame, about a family member being imprisoned. And when the children ask 'when is daddy coming home?' that's hard too, because we don't know".
