Life amid the ruins of Gaza

Raghad Jame'a, 7, and her 12-year old brother Ahmad play football in the courtyard of their family's transitional house built for them by Catholic Relief Services in Khan Yunis, Gaza. Houses in the area were destroyed by the Israeli military during the 2014 war between the state of Israel and the Hamas government of Gaza. CRS is building hundreds of transitional homes where families can live for several years until they can rebuild their own permanent home.
