The Freundesdreis Asyl is run by Christlicher Kirchen, and managed by a retired United Methodist pastor. The shelter has 18 asylum seekers from Eritrea and 10 from Gambia. They came to Europe via Sudan and Libya, crossing the Mediterranean to Italy.
