Birhanu Waka helps children move their belongings to a different classroom in a school in the Ajuong Thok Refugee Camp in South Sudan. Situated in northern Unity State, the camp hosts thousands of refugees from the Nuba Mountains, located across the nearby border with Sudan. The Lutheran World Federation, a member of the ACT Alliance, provides a variety of services in the camp, including support for children's education. Waka directs the LWF office in the area.
