Empowering rural women in Uganda
Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadAnnett Nakamya harvests plants from her raised garden in Kabulasoke, Uganda, where the Ntulume Village Women Development Association has trained women in improved agricultural practices, thus increasing food security and empowering women and children. The raised garden bed has space for animals underneath, and the animals' manure is used in making fertilizer. The project was supported by funding from the Call to Prayer and Self-Denial of United Methodist Women.
