AIDS Conference begins with march in Washington

Sex workers and their supporters chant slogans as they and other people march through the streets of Washington, DC, on July 22, 2012, to demand that the U.S. and other governments keep their promises to fund global relief programs for those living with HIV and AIDS. The march took place as more than 23,000 delegates gathered in the US capital city for the XIX International AIDS Conference.
