26 October 2023, El Guante, Cedros, Honduras: A group of young migrants supported by the Lutheran World Federation's regional World Service program for Central America gather at a community centre in Cedros, Honduras. The LWF World Service program in Central America supports Honduran returned migrants aged 18-30 in finding their way into the society they had once decided to leave behind in search of better life opportunities. The LWF facilitates vocational training as well as providing seed capital to young returned migrants so they can start small-smale businesses to provide for themselves.
