Reconstruction underway in Philippines following deadly typhoon

A woman helps fabricate new fishing nets on Jinamoc Island, part of the municipality of Basey in the Philippines province of Samar that was hit hard by Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013. The storm was known locally as Yolanda, and left most of the island's boats, nets, and houses destroyed. The ACT Alliance has been providing a variety of assistance to survivors here, and is planning a long-term rehabilitation program with residents.
