Fixing nets after typhoon in Philippines

Men inspect their damaged nets on Malangabang, a small island near the Philippines city of Concepcion. The community was ravaged during the passage of Typhoon Haiyan, known locally as Yolanda, in November 2013. The storm surge swept over the whole community, smashing boats and rendering many nets unusable. Yet residents have rebounded quickly with help from the Philippine government and the international community.
