The Fraternidad de Presbiteriales Mayas gave her a loan to buy additional inventory. The Fraternidad works with women and families in this K’iché-speaking Maya region, providing education, credit, health care, and empowerment. Many of the women in this group weave and embroider, using credit from the Fraternidad to buy materials they need to produce a product they then sell, utilizing the income to better their family’s quality of living.
