Teachers celebrate end of training course in contested Sudanese border region of Abyei

Sister Amado is a volunteer with Solidarity with South Sudan, an international network of Catholic groups providing training for teachers, health care workers, and pastoral agents in South Sudan. The teachers she taught in Agok are among tens of thousands of people displaced in 2011 attacks by soldiers and militias from the northern Republic of Sudan. .
