Helping hurricane survivors in Haiti
Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadZachel Choisil laughs as she holds one of her goats in the Haitian community of Ganthier, where Mission Sociale des Eglises Hatiennes (MISSEH), a member of the ACT Alliance, has helped her and other residents rebuild their homes and lives after the village was devastated in 2016 by Hurricane Matthew. Besides providing construction material for housing construction, MISSEH has also provided animals, seeds and tools to farmers, while helping the community organize a more agile and responsive program of disaster risk reduction.
