HIV positive woman leader in Thai village

Auraiwan Kanlaya, standing in the Hualin Buddhist Temple, has organized a cooperative of women, many of them HIV positive like her, in the village of Toong-sa-tok in northern Thailand. The cooperative, supported by the temple's monks, sews clothing for sale in Japan and other foreign countries, yielding important income for the women and their families.
