Add to Cart Add to Lightbox Download3 March 2023, Radom, Poland: Iryna Shroo from Kyiv, a fire brigade telephone operator who fled Ukraine with her 16-year-old son in 2022, is one of many Ukrainian refugees receiving support from the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland, Radom Parish. Among other activities – following the arrival of Ukrainian refugees in Poland as Russia invaded Ukraine in early 2022 – the parish offers Polish classes in order to help refugees integrate and find new opportunities in Polish society. The classes are supported by the Lutheran World Federation.
