The school started as a kindergarten in the year of 1995, but in 2010 turned into a full-grown basic school. As public schools do not normally teach religion, families that wish to see their children receive some such education alongside overall schooling can place their children in church-run private schools. Kaarli school currently hosts 80 children in kindergarten and 180 students in basic school.
