Providing home care for disabled man

Nola Russell, a volunteer with Meals on Wheels, delivers food to David Rockett in his apartment in St. Joseph, Missouri. Rockett, who is disabled, is able to remain in his home because of support from home care workers provided by InterServ Community Services, an ecumenical ministry long supported by United Methodist Women. The home care workers clean, shop and cook for the 64-year old man, as well as provide him with a listening presence. The Meals on Wheels program in St. Joseph is also sponsored by InterServ Community Services. In the background is Leslie Spiteri, a visiting home health care nurse.
