26 October 2023, El Guante, Cedros, Honduras: Adin Isabela Moncada, a young returned migrant receiving support from the Lutheran World Federation World Service program – makes her way home from a community centre in El Guante, Cedros. The LWF World Service program in Central America supports Honduran returned migrants aged 18-30 in finding their way into the society they had once decided to leave behind in search of better life opportunities. The LWF facilitates vocational training as well as providing seed capital to young returned migrants so they can start small-smale businesses to provide for themselves.
