Hebron settler picnic on Palestinian land
Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadIsraeli settlers have a Sabbath picnic in an olive grove belonging to Palestinian farmers in Hebron. Some 400 Israeli settlers, protected by 5,000 Israeli soldiers, have used intimidation and violence to drive Palestinian shopkeepers from the center of the ancient city of Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank. Settlers have also chased Palestinians out of their own olive groves. Many claim that the ultimate goal of the settlers, who believe that they have a divine right to the land around Hebron, is to drive the Palestinians away permanently.
