The project is a joint project of the Roman Catholic diocese of Tombura-Yambio and Caritas Austria. Aquila is a community extension officer of the program, which helps families displaced by attacks from the Lord's Resistance Army to get restarted on land they once fled. They grow vegetables and fruit for their own consumption as well as to sell in nearby markets for cash, which they use to pay for medicines and school fees.
