Wedding party in war-torn South Sudan town

In preparation for a wedding, Dinka villagers dance on April 14, 2017, in Poktap, a town in South Sudan's Jonglei State where conflict, drought and inflation have caused severe food insecurity.
The white on the man's face is a mixture of ash and cow dung that Dinka cattle keepers traditionally apply to ward off flies.
The Lutheran World Federation, a member of the ACT Alliance, is helping families in the area tackle food problems, as well as providing support for housing and education.
